Gene Thomas

Gene Thomas is a singer/songwriter who has written and recorded several songs.  Gene arrived on the music scene in 1961 with his hit recording of "Sometimes", which happened to be his first recording ever in a recording studio.  Over the years he had several hit records as a recording artist and songwriter.  He teamed up with Debbe Neville and they recorded as Gene and Debbe, with hits such as "Playboy", "Loving Season", and several more.  Gene has had songs recorded by Don Gibson, Wayon Jennings, Everly Brothers, Dean Martin, Tina Turner, Eddie Raven, Freddy Fender, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Kenny Rogers, Lonnie Mack, Roy Orbison, Sue Thompson, Toni Jolene, Carl Smith, George Hamilton IV, Buffy St. Marie, Mickey Gilley, Charlie McClain, Nat Stuckey, Connie Smith, Johnny Lee, Charlie Louvin, Dottie West, Doug Sahm, The Gentrys, Glen Barber and many others.
