On my Jan 20th post I said "He's an American treasure who has weaved his magic through song for a little over a decade." I meant to say "He's an American treasure who has weaved his magic through song for MANY decades".
Sorry about that Gene :)....

Only Gene Thomas can put lyrics and melodies together so that everyone can understand them and feel them the very first time they hear them. He's an American treasure who has weaved his magic through song for a little over a decade. To our good fortune he just gets better as time roles on. Thanks Mr. Thomas for giving us your music with the hope that you can continue for another decade of writing songs filled with simple truths and melodies that have, and always will, tend to move us while living in a world today that needs all the love and understanding we can give it.

A song of high importance and obviously long before most began to notice.

Seems our generation with all it's fancy ideas and plans, just made a bit of a mess, while arguing about how to fix it..
Let's all hope this new generation is bright enough to learn from those that know..
we can only hope Gene
